Data and embeds
The 2026 FHA multifamily statutory limits are a free download, and the loan sizer can run on your own site. Every number comes from HUD, with the notice it came from.
The statutory limits file
30 rows: three section groups, elevator and non-elevator, five bedroom counts. Each row has HUD's base per-unit limit from HUD, Annual Indexing of Basic Statutory Mortgage Limits for Multifamily Housing Programs, FR Doc 2026-08795 (May 6, 2026), effective January 1, 2026, and the 270% and 405% high-cost amounts worked out from Mortgagee Letter 2026-05. The limits page shows the same table.
- fha-mf-statutory-limits-2026.csv (CSV, 5 KB)
- fha-mf-statutory-limits-2026.json (JSON, 12 KB)
- fha-multifamily-rules.json (every limit, ratio, premium, fee and term the sizer uses, each with its source, checked 2026-10-24)
- manifest.json (what's in each file and where it came from, for scripts)

Use it in your own work
HUD's figures are federal government works and in the public domain. Our compilation (the flat table, the high-cost arithmetic and the rules file) is offered under CC BY 4.0. Credit it as "Data: Sizing Sheet (fhamultifamily.loan)" with a link to this page. No warranty: check the notice before you rely on a number. For bulk or commercial API use, write to desk@janover.co.
Put the sizer on your site
The same sizer as the full page, without our header and footer, with a small credit link back. It runs in the visitor's browser and sends nothing anywhere. It stacks into one column on narrow screens, so set the height to suit your page.

HUD loan rates move with Treasury yields. Two ways to show today's numbers: the widget below (10-year and 7-year
Treasury par yields and SOFR, with their sources), or the JSON behind it at
/api/live?ids=UST10,UST7,SOFR, which carries the publisher, the date of each reading and whether it's
fresh or stale. Both are open to other sites and cached for 15 minutes. Add &theme=dark to the widget
for a dark background. The sizer's default rate is not one of these: it's the 5.54% median note rate
on apartment loans HUD endorsed in the year to September 30, 2026.
